Principal's Message

Welcome to Klondike Middle School where we promote the saying “Once a Nugget always a Nugget!”  It is an honor to be the principal of such a diverse and inspiring group of students and educators.  We look forward to being a part of the life long learning experience of your student/s and to working with the parents to support your student’s academic, social and emotional growth during their time at KMS.

At KMS our motto is Dream...Explore...Achieve! We understand that our students come to us with hopes and dreams, and it is our goal to provide opportunities that will allow them to explore opportunities and help them realize their dreams. Klondike Middle School has a rich history of high achievement. The faculty and staff at KMS believes that all students can learn.  Our teachers, coaches and club sponsors work diligently to provide students with experiences that challenge and engage them to achieve their personal best.

The faculty and staff realizes that students who are active in extracurricular opportunities at school tend to have greater academic and social/emotional success. Thus we provide many options for students to support their talents and curiosity. These opportunities include: Robotics, FACS Club, Student Council, Math Counts, Spell Bowl, Dance Team, Speech Team, Spelling Bee, Quiz Bowl and Jazz Band to name a few. In addition we offer athletic opportunities which include Football, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Boys and Girls Basketball, Wrestling, and Track. Additionally, we offer brief seasons of various intramural sports for students. Please encourage your student/s to get involved with their school by participating in extracurricular activities.
